IID is a A/W “Collection” conceived in 2016 composed of a very short number of 'pieces of clothing'. The loose fitting pieces undergo a series of reversible altering transformations that make for a wider number of looks and possibilities. This Jacket "no title labeled long sleeve jacket" is able to transform into 10 different pieces because of its many zippers and layers. I’ve been playing with the flexibility of fabric and its placement on a garment, whether a sleeve can become a pocket, whether the jacket itself can become a vest. The focus is to reshape the ‘classical yet still instated” habit of labeling. Motivate and discipline the oppression behind “naming & boxing”.
